Description: The former headquarters of the Swiss association of mechanical and electrical engineering industry (Swissmem), situated at a prime location in Zürich (Seefeld), was used temporarily by Project Interim for 19 months. Over 130 start-up entrepreneurs, artists, graphic/fashion designers, filmmakers, musicians and other artists made use of the 5’000 m2 property. With two exhibition spaces (Tom Bola und Counter Space), Kirche 248 was accessible to the public. The reconstruction of the property started early June 2014 after Project Interim handed-over the the vacant building on time to its owner, Ledermann Immobilien AG.
